The Cricket Team

The entire India watched the collapse of the Indian Cricket team yet again against New Zealand..This was not the first time that India has been a part of such a match..There have been numerous occasions in the past where the team has been crumbled to pieces by teams that have been weaker than them in most aspects.
It's true that the 'Team' looks good only on paper.As far as the 'bigwigs' are concerned,they have failed in all departments of the game.The most mentionable exception to this has been 'the wall'......yes Rahul Dravid!
He has produced innumerable memorable innings for India in both the forms of the game.I personally feel that he is the only player to play for the team. It's true that even he does ads but then he is totally professional about it.On the field and on the crease he has his mind fully focussed on the game.Sincere efforts to WIN the game is what he gives on the Cricket field.
The selection process for the Indian team is by and large the most disgusting thing ever to occur in the cricket fraternity.Look at Australia,who never hesitate to exclude even the best of their players and on the other hand there is the Indian team........(It's better to keep mum on that).The policy for selection and the selectors are highly objectionable and dubious.
Stop their endorsements.Use a strict policy for selection.Fine them for poor performances.Stop keeping 'PETS' in the Indian Cricket team.That is what will take team India to a respectable position in world cricket.!!!

Music...The Panacea!

Music....that holistic feeling! The eternal ecstasy!
I find music the most soothing of all things.The strumming of the strings of the Guitar...the Piano playing a sweet and melodious tune....the rhythmic beat of the Tabla.....the delicate strike on the Santoor strings.....the ever so mellifluous notes from the Flute...they all fascinate me...they just refresh me up every time the chips are down.
Music knows no bounds.It overcomes the barriers of religion,region and geography.Any sound human being can easily come to terms with any kind of music instantly!
Even medical science has accepted the healing powers of music.To top it all,the power of music has even been proved to be stimulating the growth of plants!!
The latent potential in music is dying to come out.It is upto us to help it in its way out and make the world a better place to live in!!

The happiness and the satisfaction that one derives out of CREATIVITY is what I cherish the most.Be it any creative work,(the scope limited to constructive creation,of course!)the joy of merely taking up a task gives a feeling of triumph,not to mention the boundless joy one enjoys on its completion!
